Focus & Rationale
Cultural and artistic initiatives use creative expression as a tool for dialogue, reflection, and social change. This includes everything from exhibitions, performances, and festivals to street art, storytelling, and community theatre. Challenges & Relevance
Art has the power to reach people emotionally, provoke new ways of thinking, and break through societal barriers. In times of social tension or political polarization, cultural initiatives can create safe spaces for difficult conversations and healing. They give voice to those who are often silenced and allow marginalized narratives to be seen and heard. Our Approach
BRIC integrates cultural and artistic practices into many of our projects, both as content and as methodology. We collaborate with artists, curators, performers, and community members to co-create exhibitions, interventions, and events that address issues like migration, inclusion, human rights, and memory.
Our formats are interactive and participatory – from poster campaigns and video storytelling to pop-up performances and public art installations. We use art to engage people who might not connect through traditional civic spaces, and to make complex issues more tangible and relatable. Through culture, we foster curiosity, empathy, and connection across difference.
